A Field-Based Hub for Conservation Science

The Conservation Research Station is envisioned as a field-based platform for biodiversity research, ecological monitoring, conservation learning and scientific documentation.

Pakistan’s diverse landscapes — from the high mountains of the north to forests, wetlands, deserts and coastal ecosystems — remain under-researched in many areas. There is a need for reliable field data that can help researchers, conservation organizations and decision-makers better understand what is changing and why.

The Research Station aims to help address this gap.

Building Pakistan’s Conservation Evidence Base

The long-term vision is to establish a network of field research capacity that can contribute to better understanding and protection of Pakistan’s natural heritage.
