About us

Understanding Nature. Generating Knowledge. Supporting Conser

The Pakistan Conservation Research Unit (PakCRU) is a research and conservation initiative dedicated to understanding Pakistan’s wildlife, biodiversity and natural ecosystems.
We work at the intersection of field research, biodiversity documentation, conservation science and knowledge sharing. Our approach is grounded in evidence, field experience and collaboration with researchers, conservation organizations, communities and institutions.
From mountains and forests to wetlands, deserts and coastal ecosystems, PakCRU seeks to document Pakistan’s natural heritage and contribute knowledge that can support its long-term protection.
